Lamb

With an 1100 year history, Icelandic sheep are one of the oldest and purest breeds of sheep. Having developed on an island with little grain production, they are valued for their ability to mature on forage alone. Icelandic lamb is considered “gourmet” lamb, due to its fine texture, tenderness, and delicious flavor. Like other mountain-type breeds, Icelandic lamb has a mild flavor and lean meat.

Our Icelandic flock is raised on pasture, and grass-fed and grass-finished.
